VANCOUVER, BC: Saturday October 23rd. Today’s weather is expected to start with rain and then turn cloudy in the afternoon, with wind and a maximum of 12 C. Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a special weather statement for windy conditions beginning Sunday and they continue until Monday afternoon. Gusts of more than 100 km / h are possible over the west and north of Vancouver Island.

The western sections of Metro Vancouver and the southern sections of Howe Sound will see the strongest winds Monday morning with gusts of up to 80 km / h before subsiding on Monday afternoon, according to the weather agency.
