The Government of Nuevo León will start the tender for Sintram on December 29

Monterrey, NL. The state government will launch next Wednesday, December 29, the tender for the acquisition of equipment for the Comprehensive Metropolitan Transit System (feel), which will be relocated and operated from the facilities of the State Center for Comprehensive Control, Command, Communications and Computing (C5) for comprehensive emergency care.

At the press conference “The New Force is Civil”, Aldo Fasci Zuazua, Secretary of Public Security explained that said tender includes the renewal and acquisition of specialized equipment and technology that will improve the security tools in the entity and that will pay more security for citizens.

He explained that the tender basically requires infrastructure because they already have the software and what they are looking for is that this infrastructure works with the software that they already have so that they do not have to buy it again.

“Son cameras, plate readers, facial recognition, chip readers, cameras will allow us to distinguish traffic flows, this will be very useful to open the way for patrols, ambulances, firefighters and, if necessary, close it to criminals ”, said the official.

He said that it will be possible to take advantage of the infrastructure of the Mobility and Urban Planning and Security secretariats, and there will be 1,050 intersections with surveillance cameras, installation of panic buttons at transport points, monitoring and emergency care via 911, In addition to installing arches equipped with license plate reader cameras, cameras with a radio-frequency-RFID identification reader and cameras for facial recognition.



Security for public transport users and response times for police and emergency bodies will also be improved; the monitoring center will be optimized from the C5 and the current coverage of the feel for a better coordination and attention in the diverse crossings and intersections of the city, mainly in those conflictive points.

The 1,050 intersections are distributed 522 in the municipality of Monterrey, 92 in San Nicolás de los Garza, 90 in San Pedro Garza García, 145 in Guadalupe, 67 in Apodaca, 32 in Santa Catarina, 62 in Escobedo, 26 in Juárez and 14 in García .

Fasci Zuazua said that by operating the cameras from C5 for the first time, the state team, as well as municipalities, will be guaranteeing coverage and security for all citizens of New Lion, also having all the C4 connected to the base of the C5.

He clarified that if it is published this Wednesday, December 29, the deadline for registration would be January 11 to give the ruling on February 4, 2022.
