Quebec reports 782 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday

Quebec reported on Thursday 782 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths.

Of the new cases, 576 were people who had not been vaccinated or received a single dose less than 14 days ago. Forty-two had received a single dose 14 days or more ago and 164 had received a second dose at least seven days ago.

The provincial toll has now exceeded 400,000 people infected since the start of the pandemic, to 400,625, of which 382,703 have recovered. There are a total of 11,315 deaths.

There are 256 hospitalizations, an increase of six from Wednesday. Of these patients, 87 are in intensive care, an increase of two.
