Felipe VI agrees to meet in Madrid with the king emeritus

According to sources from the Casa del Rey, the conversation between Felipe VI and Juan Carlos I took place before the king returned from the United Arab Emirateswhere his father resides, and “given the characteristics of the funeral ceremony”, the conversation took place over the phone.

The same sources indicate that both have agreed to meet in Madrid when the king emeritus comes to Spain.
