Windsor police name suspect at large after bowling alley shooting

Investigators announced on Tuesday that Ratcliffe is the suspect at large in relation to the shooting of five people at a bowling alley in Windsor’s Forest Glade area on April 9.

Ratcliffe’s whereabouts are currently unknown. Police said he does not have a fixed address.”

The accused is described as a Hispanic male, between five-foot-two and five-foot-five in height, and between 150 and 170 pounds in weight.

He can further be identified by the word “Ratcliffe” tattooed on his right forearm.

At the time of the shooting incident, he was wearing a distinctive Nike coat with a brown torso and black sleeves, a gray hooded sweater, a blue baseball cap with a white LA Dodgers logo, and a black face mask.

Ratcliffe is being sought on five counts of attempted murder, as well as the offenses of discharging a firearm recklessly and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.

Anyone with a sighting of the suspect should not approach him, but should call 911 immediately.

During the early hours of April 9, five people suffered firearm injuries when a weapon was fired into a crowd outside the Super Bowl Lanes establishment at 10000 Tecumseh Road East.

Police believe the shooting was related to a fight that had previously taken place inside the bowling alley.

One of the people shot has been described as a “bystander” who had no involvement in the altercation.

Fernando Ratcliffe was previously sought, arrested, and charged by Windsor police in relation to a shooting that occurred on Dec. 22, 2018.

Multiple shots were fired at a vehicle at Hanna Street East and Dufferin Place during the early hours of the morning. Police said a lone male occupant of the vehicle was the intended target — but was not hit.

Another male, Johnny Furia of Windsor, was also arrested and charged in relation to that shooting, as were two females.
