Two men injured, one seriously, after shooting in East Toronto – Toronto | The Canadian News

Two men were taken to the hospital, one seriously injured, following a shooting on the eastern edge of Toronto on Monday night, authorities said.

Toronto police said the scene is in the area of ​​Warden Avenue and Firvalley Court, north of Danforth Road.

Police said a man who had been shot in the abdomen was taken to a trauma center.

A second man who had been shot in the chest was found unconscious and not breathing.

Police said he was being treated at the scene before being taken to a trauma center.

A spokesperson for Toronto paramedics told Global News that the injured were found in two separate locations and one was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other had life-threatening injuries.

Officers recovered two firearms and ammunition, police said.
