The storm ‘Barra’ keeps nine communities on alert for snow

In Galicia there is an orange alert for rough seas and waves of between 5 and 8 meters along the entire coastline; The Community of Madrid is on yellow alert for snowfalls 6 centimeters thick above 1,300 meters and gusts of wind of 80 kilometers per hour and in the Valencian Community the yellow alert is for coastal phenomena on the coast of Alicante and strong winds in all provinces.

Navarra has activated the orange alert for rainfall of up to 80 liters per square meter in 12 hours and yellow due to strong wind, snowfall 10 centimeters thick above 600 meters of altitude, thaw and risk of avalanches in the Pyrenees.
