In a press briefing at the National Assembly on Wednesday, the PQ leader, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, recalled that this was a measure which, originally, was intended to be temporary and exceptional.

But the vaccine passport is here to stay, said the Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, when presenting a new deconfinement plan on Wednesday, alongside the Prime Minister, François Legault.

The Minister of the Economy, Pierre Fitzgibbon, even spoke out for its expansion last week, a way of convincing even more individuals to get their first dose of vaccine, according to him.

The spokesperson for Québec solidaire, Vincent Marrissal, urges the government to clarify its intentions and to indicate in its deconfinement plan when it intends to lift the vaccine passport.
