La Pacific Alliance subscribe to a free trade agreement with Singapore, announced the Colombian president Ivan Duque in the mark of a block meeting that conforms Chile, Colombia, Peru y Mexico.
Accompanied by his homologues of Peru, Pedro Castillo, y de Chile, Sebastián Piñera —fundadores de la alianza— Duque celebró el pact con la ciudad-Estado.
“Llega Singapore with its experience, with its tradition, as one of the principal centers of innovation, science and technology of the planet”, declared the mandate from the port of Buenaventura, in this is Colombia.

The convention seeks to “fortify the trade of our lands and create the most powerful gaps between us”, added Lee.
The Pacific Alliance is considered the octave of the world economy with a market of over 230 million people.
During the event, Duque transferred the presidency for the time being to the organization of the Mexican mandate, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Representing Lopez, the secretary of Hacienda y Crédito Público de México, Rogelio Ramírez, applauded the agreement with Singapore as an “important step” to establish agreements with the Asia-Pacific region, one of the “most dynamic in economic and commercial matters” of the world.
At the meeting in Buenaventura also assisted the President of Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso, who from his power to power in 2020 has paid the entrance of his country as full society.
Duque adelantó that the entry of Ecuador into the mechanism of cooperation will be the “next step” that gives the members.
The exchange between the nations integrating the bloc, created in April 2011 and formalized in July 2012, represents 41% of GDP of Latin America.
