In a public session via videoconference, the plenary session unanimously resolved to confirm the decision of the Specialized Regional Chamber to impose a fine of 100 UMAS (8,962 pesos) on let democracy continue AC for failing to comply with the precautionary measure imposed by the Complaints and Denunciations Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE).
The National Action parties (BREAD), of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and Citizen Movement (MC) presented before the INE a complaint against Brunette and civic organization Let democracy continue AC for undue promotion of the revocation consultation, and when analyzing the fact, the INE Complaints Commission declared the origin of the precautionary measures, consisting of ceasing to use the word “ratification” in the association’s propaganda.
Subsequently, the INE Complaints and Denunciations Commission determined that the civil association Let democracy continue AC continued with the dissemination of propaganda with the text “ratification”. Therefore, the INE opened an investigation process.
Subsequently, the Specialized Regional Chamber of the Court ruled that the organization did not comply with the precautionary measure, for which it imposed said fine. Dissatisfied, the civil association challenged said decision before the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF.
During the public session this Wednesday, the plenary session of the Electoral Court -at the proposal of Judge Indalfer Infante Gonzales-, considered that the claims of the civil association were not admissible, because it was found that the association did not carry out the necessary acts to comply with the mandate. by the administrative authority to comply with the precautionary measure.
