By accepting the position at Star AcademyGuylaine Tremblay has made it her mission to convince Academicians to add a dose of interpretation to their vocal talent in order to make them better singers and better artists.

She also recognizes that the choices of the teaching staff, as much for the endangerments as to save a candidate at the end of the Varieties, is not necessarily an easy process.
“Our choice is often based on work. Who is the Academician who has made the most progress, who has understood the instructions and who has managed to apply them… There are some difficult decisions that are often made during the evening. We also attend rehearsals during the day, we see what is taking shape, but we can have surprises live. There are performances that take on another dimension in the presence of the public.”
Jeremy, for example, was often in danger, but he applied the instructions. He understood what was being asked of him. He even stayed at the Academy longer than he might have imagined thanks to his work.
Throughout the last three months, Guylaine Tremblay has also been concerned about the happiness of Academicians. Star Academy is a great experience, but very difficult.
