The Service tax administration (SAT) granted an extension of one month for the mandatory nature of the tax process, Carta Porte, which was scheduled for implementation as of December 1 of this year, announced the president of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers (Concamin), José Abugaber.

As of January 1, 2022, it will come into force, so that said period will give a “break” to the transport sector to train, and to be able to comply with the requirements of the Carta Porte supplement (fiscal requirement to combat contraband and illegality), which goes from being a physical document or a digital one.

“We recognize the openness to dialogue in the work tables, through our Transportation Commission, in which the Tax Administration System listened to the agents of the various modalities of this sector, production and national consumption,” said the leader of the industrialists.

The owner of the SAT, Rachel Buenrostro He met with Coparmex last Wednesday, where he reported that there was a great advance in the process and adjustments that carriers must make, even saying that large companies, such as DHL, were already ready for the change.

Although in recent days, Alex Theissen, president of the National Association of Private Transporters (ANTP) stated that small and medium-sized companies required more time to be able to comply with the postage, since the procedures will be multiplied with the new fiscal requirements.
