Saskatoon and Regina welcome babies on New Years Day | The Canadian News

The first babies of 2022 arrived in Saskatchewan.

In Saskatoon, parents Krystal and Chris Lynn welcomed Hudson Rapheal Lynn at 12:17 a.m. on January 1, 2022.

Hudson weighed 7 pounds. 9 oz. and is the youngest of Lynn’s six children, joining two sisters and three brothers.

Regina welcomed her first baby of the year when baby Jemma was born to parents Jessie and David at Regina General Hospital.

Jemma made her entry into the world at 1:35 am on Saturday, weighing in at 8 pounds. 1 ounce. His older sister is happy to be here.
