The remittances sent by nationals to their families in Mexico continue to set records. According to the latest data from the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) in April entered a historic flow for this month.

In total, 4,667 million dollars were sent through this instrument, while 38.4 million were in cash and kind, and 12.5 million through money orders.
Banxico also reported that the average remittance shipment was 391 dollars, which was also higher than the average registered in April 2021 of 375 dollars.
In total, the compatriots sent the remittances through a total of 12.05 million operations.
Meanwhile, in the accumulated from January to April the data was 17,240 million dollars, 17.5% more than in the same period last year.
