The Regina Police Service (RPS) requests the assistance of the public in solving a case of armed robbery and assault with a knife.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at approximately 8:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Garnet Street to report a weapons crime, where a man had been assaulted with a knife and sprayed with pepper spray. or bear mace.

“The police arrived and located the wounded 54-year-old man, who reported that he was accosted from behind by the suspect, who pointed a knife at the victim and demanded money,” according to police.
