Regina Police Request Public Assistance After Armed Vehicle Robbery – Regina | The Canadian News

The Regina Police Service (RPS) is requesting the public’s assistance in solving an armed robbery case that occurred on Boxing Day.

Police say that on Sunday at approximately 3 a.m., police were dispatched to the 4500 block of 2nd Avenue North for a report of an armed robbery with a firearm. They learned that around 2:20 am, the victim parked her vehicle in the 1000 block of Garnet Street.

“An unknown man approached, armed with a firearm, and the victim got out of the vehicle,” police said. “The suspect demanded that the victim hand over his belongings, and then the suspect left in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was found by the police, abandoned, that same day, in the 700 block of Athol Street ”.

Police describe the suspect as a male, approximately five feet nine to 10 inches tall, with a slim build, armed with a long-armed firearm, and dressed in all black, including a leather jacket, large black backpack, and White shoes.
