Queretaro commerce projects to spill 850 million pesos for El Buen Fin

The effects of the pandemic will be reflected in this edition of El Buen Fin, since it is estimated that 35% of sales are made through digital channels; In addition, it is projected that 50% of sales will materialize through an electronic payment (debit or credit card).

The 2021 edition of El Buen Fin is also characterized by emphasizing promoting electronic commerce, as well as encouraging the internal market. Televisions, computer equipment, as well as restaurant and travel services are among the products in greatest demand.

Faced with the container crisis, which restricts the flow of Asian imports, the chamber leader acknowledged that there could be delays in products of Chinese origin.

“In the national case, the Port of Manzanillo is operating at a significant rate of work, it is generating delays twice the time in delivery, but it is not experiencing crisis supply rates for any type of item. What will happen is that in some cases – of products that come from China – there will be delays of more than half the time that was had, but it does not imply that the consumption of imported products cannot be encouraged ”, he mentioned.

The president of the Alliance for the Historic Center, Antonio Torres Rico, added that the Good End is also an opportunity to promote the recovery of sales among the establishments located in the first square of the city.

Complaints

About 80% of the complaints received by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office for the Consumer (Profeco) for the Good End are related to not respecting the promotions, said the regional representative of the organization, Juan Rodríguez Valle.

If a conciliation is not reached in this type of complaint, the attorney general’s office continues with a process that can lead to penalties of up to 3.7 million pesos.
