The party’s top three leaders are in eastern and central Canada today, a day after a new poll suggested the already tight race is getting even tighter.

Liberal leader Justin Trudeau begins his day with a morning announcement in Halifax.

Erin O’Toole of the Conservatives spends the day in Quebec, beginning with an announcement in the morning in Jonquiere, followed by an evening support event in Orford.

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is in Ontario, first with a morning announcement in Essex about long-term care, then visiting supporters in various communities before taking part in an evening Twitch broadcast event.

Yesterday, a poll conducted by Leger in collaboration with The Canadian Press indicated that Liberals and Conservatives are tied with the support of 32 percent of decided voters before Monday’s election.

A similar poll conducted two weeks ago had conservatives leading the way at 34 percent compared to 30 percent for liberals.

Leger’s poll suggested that New Democrats’ support was 20 percent of decided voters, down from 24 percent of respondents in the previous poll.
