In Mexico, doctors earn an average of 122 pesos per hour, which varies depending on the level of instruction and the area of specialization. Doctors who have a doctorate earn an average of 26,695 pesos per month.
According to figures from the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE), 76% of these professionals work in a subordinate and paid manner.
In terms of gender, 46% are women and 54% are men.
