The mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, announced Monday that all employees of the private sector in the most populated city of USA will be subject to a mandatory vaccination against coronavirus as of December 27.
The mayor thus goes further than the president Joe Biden, whose order of compulsory vaccination, which was due to take effect on January 4 but is currently suspended by the courts, only concerned workers in companies with more than 100 employees.
