Not sure how to prepare your child for the first COVID-19 vaccine? A new video from local community partners demystifies the process.

First published online on Saturday, three minute video includes tips for preparing a child for vaccination, as well as a step-by-step tour of what to expect at the Devonshire Mall Mass Vaccination Center.
The video, which can be seen by visiting wevax.ca or the YouTube channel WRHWeCare, it shows a girl’s journey to the vaccination center, including what the interior of the building looks like and what the vaccination process entails. As the video plays, a voice-over provides easy-to-follow instructions for parents and children to follow during their visit, and tips for before and after vaccination.
Windsor Regional Hospital created the video in partnership with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and the City of Windsor.
