The City of Montreal West announced this week that Westminster Ave. S. will be completely closed to traffic between Avon and Ainslie Rds. starting Tuesday, October 12.

The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks and is necessary for the relocation of the water and sewer lines as part of the redevelopment project at 45 Westminster Ave. S.
The works will be carried out from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The municipality warns that due to the depth of the work on the street it will not be possible to cross temporarily on weekends and adds that delays in the schedule may occur in case of bad weather “or any other unforeseen event.”
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling in the area.
