A man died after a shooting in the west end of the city Sunday night, Toronto police confirmed.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Humber Boulevard and Alliance Avenue area around 7:45 pm
A man who had been shot was in a semi-detached house unit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the homicide squad has been notified. This is the second fatal shooting in Toronto over the holiday weekend and the 84th homicide in the city so far this year. A 20-year-old was pronounced dead on Christmas Eve after being shot.
