A man and a woman are in critical condition after being shot inside a vehicle in Brampton Sunday night, Peel police said.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a shooting in a plaza in the Central Park Drive and Graham Crescent area just before 5 p.m.

Officers arrived and found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

Peel’s paramedics said they took both victims to a critically injured trauma center.

Police said a light-colored vehicle reportedly fled the scene.

There is no description of the suspect at this time.
