A 62-year-old man was in critical condition with stab wounds Friday after a fight broke out in a home in St-Laurent.

Montreal police responded to a call around 5:25 am at a residence on Côte-Vertu Blvd., at the corner of Cardinal Ave.

The man was transported to a hospital, while a 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Witnesses said there was an altercation that broke out between family members, but police are investigating the circumstances of the injury.
