My client, Michelle, has had the same hairstyle for many years and was ready for a change.

Michelle has very thick and naturally wavy hair. During our consultation, she wasn’t sure if she should let it grow long or keep it short. We opted to keep it shorter and created a soft, feminine and textured pixie.

After washing her hair, I styled the back, creating a soft conical shape. I then attached the top part of her hair to blend into the back, creating a slightly graduated shape. I kept some length around the face and removed the hard side part. Customize your cut by eliminating bulk and removing excess weight for an easy, low-maintenance finish.

I combed her hair using KMS molding paste because it helps control medium to coarse hair types and helps enhance texture with a natural finish.

Make up:

We kept Michelle’s makeup very easy and effortless. I primed her skin with a green corrective primer to eliminate redness and then evened her complexion with a cream foundation stick. I played with her eyes with a bronze cream multifacial stick and defined her shape by lining her eyelid with dark brown eyeliner. I applied a pink cream blush stick on her cheeks and finished with a neutral glossy lip.

Makeup used:

Primer: Make Up For Ever Step 1 Color Concealer: Redness Concealer.

Base: WHYZ Beauty Stick in light.

Shade: NYX Jumbo Shadow Multipurpose Face Bar in Flan.
