Longueuil police officers mobilize for Ukrainians


Active and retired police officers from the Longueuil agglomeration police department have decided to join forces in order to come to the aid of the Ukrainian people.

The initiative organized by ex-policeman Mario Solari aims to collect essential items, including pharmaceutical and baby products.

The instigator, who visited Ukraine a few years ago, wanted to do his part and encouraged colleagues to do the same.

“Faced with this generosity, we decided, at SPAL, not to remain indifferent to it. We want to support our former colleagues,” explains SPAL spokesperson Ghyslain Vallières.

A collection will take place on Sunday in the Promenades Saint-Bruno parking lot, near entrance number 1. The public is invited to donate products.
