Some people have said that they can choose whether or not to get vaccinated.

Fair enough.
But it is also the government’s decision to say that if you go to certain establishments you need to show proof of vaccination with an official passport. Those who are fully vaccinated and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccines will have access to more freedoms.
That is the government’s choice.
Everyone has the right to choose, for reasons they know, why or why not to get the vaccine.
The benefits go to those trying to rid our communities of this terrible pandemic.
