The 625 drivers of the Société de transport de Laval already participated in a day of strike on November 3.

Negotiations for a new contract continue despite strikes and a session is scheduled for Monday. The main contentious topics in the conversations are salaries, the reduction of service on certain lines when demand is insufficient and working hours.

On Friday, service will only be offered on STL buses that begin their scheduled tours between 5:59 am and 8:44 am, between 2:59 pm and 6:29 pm, and between 10:29 pm and 12:29 am. that start during these windows but end after them will complete their routes, but those that start before these windows but end during them will not run.

No service will be offered on the integrated school buses, or the Illumi or Place Bell shuttle buses.

STL buses will not operate on Saturday.

Paratransit and shared taxi services will be in place throughout the day for the two days of the strike.
