A 36-year-old man found himself seriously injured after being shot Sunday morning in the Lachine borough.
Police officers from the City of Montreal Police Department dispatched to the scene located around 1 a.m. the victim hit by at least one projectile in the upper body in an alley in the Saint-Pierre district, not far from Saint Jacques Street.
Seriously injured, the victim was transported to a hospital. “However, the man was conscious during his transport,” said SPVM spokesperson Raphaël Bergeron.
Police investigators are expected to travel to the scene Thursday morning to analyze the scene, view surveillance cameras and meet with any witnesses.
