It started as a hobby for Sandeep Singh Kaila, but for 14 years, the Abbotsford, BC resident turned it into a life-changing, internationally renowned career.
While living in India, Kaila realized that she had a very particular set of skills: spinning sports balls with her fingertips and sometimes with a stick she holds in her mouth. It was an accident he discovered while juggling.
“Slowly, slowly, the balls started spinning on my finger,” he told Global News. “I practiced, I practiced, I practiced too much.”

In the highly competitive field of sports, Kaila is now near the top.
Over the years, he has set seven different Guinness World Records. Four have been broken, but he still has three titles: “Longest time to spin a rugby ball on one finger,” “Longest time to spin a football on one finger,” and “Longest time to spin a football on one finger.” long to spin a basketball on a toothbrush.
“I think it’s an unbreakable record,” he said of the latter. “I’m also trying to break it and I couldn’t do it.”
His unique talent has earned him many guest spots and interviews and a feature in the annual Guinness World Record book.
“I had nothing to do and I wanted to be famous,” he explained. “I wanted to be famous in the world.”
Kaila said she only learned how to spin by watching videos online.
His Youtube Channel now he documents his entire spinning career, including all his performances and the presentation every time a new Guinness certificate arrives in the mail.
“I feel very proud,” he said. “Even my family, my villagers and my Punjabi community here are very proud of me.”

Kaila continues to try to break her own records and plans to set some new ones for spinning a rugby ball with the tip of a pencil and a toothbrush, and spinning a football with her left and right index fingers simultaneously.
He always plans his record-breaking attempts on important days in Canada, such as Remembrance Day or Canada Day, he said.
“As a Canadian citizen, I want to dedicate all my records to Canadian historical days,” he explained. “Dedicated to the Canadian people, Canadian nation.”
She has already passed the online screening to audition for America’s Got Talent, she added, calling it a “dream” to appear on the show once the pandemic passes. He plans to spin three flaming basketballs and a football while blindfolded.
“It’s going to be amazing. You’ve never seen it. I want to set a Guinness World Record on the America’s Got Talent stage,” he said.[The audience] I should be so excited.”
Meanwhile, he is learning how to spin all kinds of balls from different sports into different objects. He said he’s working on a trick with a tablet and a volleyball.
“Sometimes if I go out into public space, I just grab a ball and start spinning. People around me are watching while I’m shooting my videos,” he laughed.
“Until I die, I will.”
