La Chicane (December 3) and Bleu Jeans Bleu (February 10), as well as Guylaine Tanguay (November 2), Bobby Bazini (September 19), 2Frères (September 22), QW4RTZ (October 21) and Anik Jean (November 30) , are also part of the programming.

In addition to the 30th anniversary of the Maison de la culture de Gatineau (MCG), three other anniversaries will be celebrated: the 50 years of songs by Michel Rivard (February 15), the 35th anniversary of the album On the way to the fires by Paul Piché (April 20) and the 40and disc anniversary Voltage Caution by Daniel Lavoie (April 28).

Spotlight on Blues and Dance

This year, the blues will be put forward with Brian Tyler (November 19), one of the candidates of the first season of The voice. In dance, the show tuning will feature the winners of the show Revolution, Janie & Marcio (October 9). On May 3, the contemporary dance company Ballets Jazz Montréal will present to the Gatineau public Vanishing Melodieswith music by Patrick Watson.

Laughing evenings

This summer, comedian Rachid Badouri (July 21 to 23) will be back with three performances of his show carpet flowers. Réal Béland and Didier Lucien (August 17) will present comic natureinspired by the great figures of humor, including Charlie Chaplin and Olivier Guimond.

Among the fall novelties, Christian Bégin (November 10) will present The 8 deadly sins according to Christian Bégin and Boucar Diouf (February 3) will be in Gatineau with Nomo Sapiens. Fabien Cloutier (March 15) and Philippe-Audrey Larrue-St-Jacques (March 25) will also present their most recent shows.

The auditorium of the Nicolas-Gatineau high school will host Jean-Sébastien Girard (October 22), Virginie Fortin (November 5) and Neev (November 19).

Theater meetings

A total of 13 plays will be offered to the public. The film Gas Bar Blues will be transposed on stage (April 14 and 15), 20 years after its cinema release. Sainte-Marie-La-Mauderne (May 5) is inspired by the screenplay of The Great Seductionreleased in 2003.

Symphorian : the return (October 28 and 29) will revive this classic of Quebec television and will feature actor François Chénier in the title role, played by Gilles Latulippe at the time.

Alone on stage, Sophie Cadieux will mix theatre, “stand-up” and manifesto in feminist for men (April 8).
