Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois and his partner are expecting a child in the spring

Quebec Solidaire co-spokesperson Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois and his partner, Maëlle, are expecting a child in the spring.

Nadeau-Dubois made the announcement on social media on Sunday.

“All these years I spoke to them about the future. I spoke about it as a committed citizen, sometimes as an intellectual. For me, the future was an idea, a project, a dream ”, wrote in a Facebook post.

“A few weeks ago, everything changed. The future now has a face. I’m going to be a father. “

Nadeau-Dubois wrote that he fears being in politics will make it difficult for him to be as present as he would like to be for his son or daughter, but noted that he is “very happy” and surrounded by supportive friends and family.
