The appearance of the omicron variant of the covid-19 virus, simultaneous to a new expansion of the pandemic throughout the world, sow restlessness and highlights the shortcomings of vaccination on a global scale. All the warnings made to date by different international organizations about the need to universalize the administration of vaccines have been proven correct, and the predicted risks have come true.if large regions with fragile health systems were de facto excluded from immunization, turned into a breeding ground for new variants. As long as the vaccination rate in Africa about 1.2 billion people is as small as it is now just over 7% and in parts of Asia it ranges between 10% and 30%, it is difficult for first world efforts to reach the goal of setting safe from disease.
