Winnipeg police say more than $ 100,000 in damage occurred when a snow removal equipment crashed into a walkway in downtown Winnipeg last month.
The walkway running through Donald Street near Portage Avenue was struck by privately owned equipment during nighttime snow removal operations on Nov. 16, the city previously said.

The walkway and the sidewalks below it were closed to pedestrians and police say traffic was eventually disrupted for about 48 hours.
In a statement Friday, a commercial dump truck with a raised bed was heading south when it hit the overpass around 12:15 a.m., police said.
They say the driver was taken to hospital for injuries sustained in the accident, but no one else was injured.
Following an investigation by the traffic division, police say a 67-year-old Winnipeg man received provincial felony notices for four crimes related to the crash.

Offenses include fines for damage to a highway and failure to wear a seatbelt under the Highway Traffic Act.
At the time of the accident, a city spokesman said the owner of the walkway had contacted a structural engineer and a contractor to assess the damage before beginning repairs.
