Cancun, QR. The Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) local, together with the business integrator Bumerang, announced at a press conference the Latam Summit 2022, the largest business meeting in the Caribbean, to be held from January 26 to 29, 2022 at the Riviera maya.
Originally, the meeting was called between November 24 and 27 of this year, but the organizers announced at a press conference that given the high demand for accommodation in the Riviera maya and due to the great demand for spaces to participate, the event had to be postponed until next year.
The agenda is the same and among the countries invited to this business meeting are Belize, Colombia and Panama, China, Italy, Nicaragua, Thailand, among others; In addition, it is expected to have more than 90 international entrepreneurs and 60 entrepreneurs from Quintana Roo, Jalisco, Nuevo León and Chihuahua.
It will have the participation of local and federal authorities, with whom it will seek to obtain facilities and support in new businesses, as well as legal certainty for investments.
The format of the negotiations will be in the Asian style, that is, face to face, businessmen with businessmen or businessmen and authorities, with periods of 20 minutes, in which they will sit down to talk about business possibilities in the area.
Marisol Zapata, Bumeran business integrator, promoter of the Summit, stated that it is an opportunity to generate the ideal conditions to do business.
Embassies
The event will be supported by the embassies of Mexico on Belize, Panama, Colombia and Cuba, as well as by the respective diplomatic headquarters of those countries in Mexico, as part of the collaboration strategies.
Among the guests are Rogelio Jiménez Pons, director of the National Fund for the Promotion of Tourism; the ambassadors Alejandro García Moreno (Colombia), Alfredo Oranges (Panama) and Martha Zamarripa (Belize), as well as the ambassador of Mexico in Panama Manuel López Moreno.
