CDMX local deputies approve the appearances of the 16 mayors


The United Commissions of Mayors and Territorial Limits and Local Public Administration of the Mexico City Congress They approved the agreement to summon the 16 mayors of the city to appear.

The approved agreement establishes the formats through which public officials must present information on the situation of their administration and government actions,” local deputies announced on Monday.

Within these appearances, whose dates were approved unanimously, the mayors must report on the actions they have implemented, and the results, in terms of economic development, citizen attention, inclusion and social welfare, urban and rural infrastructure works, administrative verifications , civil protection, human rights, gender equity, gender perspective; as well as prevention, abandonment and mistreatment of pets and companion animals.

“They must also address planned or scheduled actions in terms of transparency and the fight against corruption; citizen security, government program, culture, labor matters, work and social welfare; sports, care activities, as well as prevention of contagion of the Covid. -19”, they referred.

The appearances will begin on May 18, the first mayors to attend the Congress local are those of Álvaro Obregón, followed by Azcapotzalco and Benito Juárez.

Meanwhile, the mayors of Coyoacán, Cuajimalpa de Morelos and Cuauhtémoc will appear in the capital’s legislative chamber on May 20. While the titular people of Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco and Iztapalapa will do so on May 23.

On May 25, the mayors of Magdalena Contreras, Miguel Hidalgo and Milpa Alta will appear.

On May 27, the mayors of the demarcations of Tláhuac, Tlalpan, Venustiano Carranza and Xochimilco will appear.
