Google decided to keep the free use of Meet until March 31, 2021 instead of reverting to limited free accounts as planned.
Earlier this year, Google made its new Hangouts Meet service free to anyone with a Google account. That meant calls from up to 100 people with no time limit. However, the company planned to set a 60-minute call limit for free users on September 30.
According to a new google blog post, that plan has changed and will continue Unlimited Meet calling for free Gmail users for the next year.
