Bus service extended during LaSalle Strawberry Festival

Free transit service is being offered Thursday to Sunday in LaSalle to accommodate folks attending the Strawberry Festival at the Vollmer Complex.

LaSalle Transit service will run during all festival hours, Thursday to Sunday, with final pick ups at the Vollmer just after the festival closes each night.

In addition, two shuttle buses will operate Friday night, from 7 to 11 pm, to bring patrons to and from the festival for the fireworks display. One bus will pick up passengers at the civic center, the other from the lot behind the Goodwill Donation Center on Front Road.

Fireworks will be launched near the pond at the Vollmer Complex at about 10 pm The best viewing areas will be in parking lot 1, the pavilion/playground area and the hill behind the pavilion.

A free bike valet service, hosted by Bike Friendly Windsor Essex, will be available near the entrance to the festival all weekend.
