After several delays, Bobby Cameron was re-elected Head of FSIN on Thursday night with 75 percent of the vote.

Also elected were Vice President David Pratt, Second Vice Chief Dutch Lerat, Third Vice Chief Alyson Bear, and Fourth Vice Chief Heather Bear.

The polls were supposed to close at 2 p.m. but due to various technological problems, they were delayed twice.

Of 1,088 eligible voters, 992 participated in the FSIN election.

Elected officials will represent 74 First Nations in Saskatchewan to honor the intent of the treaties and promote, protect and implement the treaty promises made more than a century ago.
