The president of the Congress, Meritxell Batet, has decided to act without delay to constitute the Commission for the Control of Reserved Expenses of Congress, that is, the commission that controls the National Intelligence Center (CNI). Parliamentary sources have informed THE NEWSPAPER OF SPAINa newspaper that belongs to the same group as this medium, which after verifying that the PP, especially this party, was not going to favor all groups being represented in said body, since does not dilute the veto of ERC and EH Bildu, has opted for the direct route and promote unlocking this Tuesday. Instead of insisting on consensus, something he has been asking for for months, he has advocated a controversial path: changing the Presidency resolution that regulated the creation of the commission. The PP will no longer be essential with the new text because of the 210 votes that were required, now 176 will be necessary.
