A 33-year-old suspect was apprehended by Saguenay police for physically and sexually assaulting a person in a marital context.
The Saguenay Police Department arrested the lady on Tuesday evening around 4 p.m. in the Jonquière sector.
She was questioned during the night and should appear at the Chicoutimi courthouse on Wednesday morning.
She is expected to face charges of assault, forcible confinement and sexual assault against her – or her – partner.
