Amazon Apparently Sucks By Blocking Banned Products

A new report shows that if you are an Amazon seller and the company blocks your products, you can put them back on sale without doing anything.

The edge found that parent company Sunvalley’s banned brands called RavPower, Vava, and TaoTronics were being reinstated as Rav, Vav, and Taotronics, to get around its ban with basically zero effort on their part.

Another banned company called Choetech didn’t even change its name and was still able to go back on business.

The report of The edge He also mentions that even after raising the issue with Amazon, it took the company two more weeks to review and remove the banned products again.

The post also claims that many other sellers are still selling these banned products on the platform. At the time of this story’s publication, I couldn’t find any of the banned products on Amazon.ca.

It’s a bit difficult to be that critical of Amazon as it houses millions of items and there is no way humans can control it. Still, this is another example of how short Amazon is when it comes to monitoring items sold on its platform.
