Aeromexico expands and returns to AICM T1

After 18 years, Aeroméxico once again has operations in T1 of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM). Currently all its activity is in T2.

Starting next December 11, it will serve nine national routes (to Campeche, Durango, Los Mochis, Matamoros, Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, Tampico, Zacatecas and Zihuatanejo) in its new location and initially there will be 20 daily departures. The counters will be located in room F3, in the international area.

Aeromexico is growing and strengthening its presence in its main hub of operations to be able to offer its customers more and better schedules, increase routes and continue expanding, always providing excellent service and the highest quality products, ”the company reported.

Aeroméxico Executive Vice President Commercial Aaron Murray said the announcement made on Friday is just the beginning of its expansion to boost the leadership position in Mexico City.

The possibility that the airline operates a route in the new Santa Lucía airport, in the State of Mexico, is still in the air.

The airline will serve nine national routes from T1 as of December 11, after 18 years without having a presence in that location.
