Nine companies They are fighting to become the winner of the contract for cleaning and other complementary services of the Bank of Spain’s headquarters for the next three years, with the possibility of an extension. And the fact is that the amount of the same is not negligible: more than 10 million euros, which will go to the company that, in the opinion of those responsible for the Bank of Spain, has presented the best offer.

The banking supervisor launched a tender three months ago to find a company that will be in charge of cleaning and other services at its main headquarters, located in the historic building at 48 Calle Alcalá in Madrid, for the next three years, starting on January 1, 2022.

It provided for this a budget of almost 8.5 million euros, to which must be added the VAT of 21%, which raises it to 10.25 million. This will pay for the service for the next three years, although the contract provides for the possibility of extending it twice for up to one year each. If this were done, the total budget would be 17.08 million euros with VAT (14.1 million without taxes).

The cheapest offers have been submitted by Eulen (7.1 million before taxes) and FCC Medioambiente (7.2 million without VAT), while the most expensive have come from Lacera Servicios y Mantenimiento (8.2 million without VAT ) and Limpiezas Crespo (7.98 million without VAT).
