A school in Sant Cugat confines all Primary groups due to a covid outbreak

The Pureza de María school in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Vallès Occidental, Barcelona) ha confined to all Primary groups after detecting an outbreak of covid-19, as confirmed by sources from the Ministry of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

As progress has been made this Tuesday Cugat.cat, all the students of the 18 Primary groups and a P4 group they are confined to their home. The local news portal has reported that there were only six isolated groups on Sunday, but that the rest of the children have been tested and the number has increased considerably, including asymptomatic minors. According to the data provided by the Ministry of Education, this Tuesday the confined people were about 350, and 41 positive cases, a figure that increases gradually because screening continues throughout the center and the protocols established for these cases are being followed.
