Hamilton police continue to investigate the city’s 19th homicide of the year.

Investigators say 24-year-old Sheydon Storer was shot in the driveway of his home on Darcy Court, near Upper Wentworth St. and Mohawk Rd., Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

He was rushed to hospital where he died shortly thereafter.

There has been a heavy police presence in the area throughout the day, as officers search for witnesses, suspects and vehicle descriptions.

Investigators are also asking anyone in the area with surveillance cameras to review their video.

Police have said 19 homicides is the highest number ever recorded in a year in Hamilton.
