Covid-19 in the world: first death in China for eight months

The Covid-19 pandemic has killed at least 1,963,557 people worldwide since the WHO office in China reported the onset of the disease at the end of December 2019, according to a report established by Agence France -press Wednesday.

China recorded the first death from Covid-19 on its territory in eight months, health authorities announced Thursday in a country fighting against the resurgences of the epidemic that it had largely controlled.
