Kaori Doble from Spirit River Regional Academy won the 8th Peace Wapiti Public Schools Division (PWPSD) Christmas Card Art Contest.

Each year, the PWPSD accepts submissions on a rotating basis across its four age categories. This year’s contest was open to students in Division 4 of the PWPSD, which encompasses children in grades 10-12.
The theme of this year’s art contest was “the best of Christmas is …”, and Doble won with a drawing that portrays a cozy Christmas scene by the fireplace.
The school division has been running the Christmas card contest for 8 years, and the winning image will grace the front of this year’s PWPSD Christmas cards.
For being selected as the winner, 11th grader Double wins a gift prize bag and a pizza party for his class.
