A Yorkie made a miraculous escape from the clutches of a bald eagle in BC and part of it was captured on video.
Coco, an 8-month-old, was scooped up by a bald eagle outside her home in Metlakatla on June 16, according to PEOPLE.
Storyful shared a doorbell camera’s recording of the moment when Coco got grabbed.
Coco screamed and the action went off camera, before Coco eventually returned.
“We didn’t know it was that bad until we went back and looked at my doorbell camera,” Coco’s owner Justin Dudoward told Storyful.
Coco had a cut on her stomach that required veterinary care, in addition to a few other scrapes and scratches, though three days later, Dudoward said it was “like nothing happened to her,” according to PEOPLE.
